Our journey through the seasons
2024 - 25 INTO THE DEEP
For the design of our robot, we wanted to design a collection device, which is needed to pick up and place/drop samples in baskets and/or place specimens on the submersible. Our endgame goal intended to achieve an ascent on the ascent bars, specifically the second level. As for our strategy, we created a claw attached to the arm which will reach into the submersible and grab samples. Through the claw, samples will be brought back to the human player zone in which the human player will convert the sample into a specimen.
2023 - 24 CENTERSTAGE
During our second season, we built on our experience from POWERPLAY to create a more refined robot for the CENTERSTAGE challenge. We focused on improving our intake system and developing more reliable autonomous routines.
2022 - 23 POWERPLAY
Our first season as a team! We started from scratch, learning the basics of robot building, programming, and competition. Despite being complete beginners, we successfully built our first robot and competed in our first FTC events.
